Panopticon: a building structured so that all parts of the interior (e.g. cells of a prison, rooms of an institution)

are visible from a single central point, with the inhabitants unaware of when they are being watched.

Panopticon Collective is an award-winning Melbourne-based theatre and film production

company founded by Jeni Bezuidenhout and Sebastian Bertoli, with a focus on creating

new Australian work, exploring the themes of identity and social responsibility.

Panopticon Collective is committed to working toward paying artists.

We are proud to have collaborated with numerous theatre and screen production companies including:

La Mama Theatre, Ladymullet Productions, Until Monstrous Theatre, Theatre 451, Rotten Honey,

Underground Media, VCA School of Film & Television and Dingle Media.

Panopticon Collective is currently based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne,

on the traditional land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We give our respect

to the Elders of these traditional lands and to all Indigenous people past, present and future.
